The Guangzhou Grain and Oil Food Industry Park (Guangqing Park) project is an all-encompassing grain and oil product complex under construction by Guangzhou Grain Group. It combines various functions, including grain and oil reserves, processing, transit logistics, electronic trading, scientific research, and grain security public education, along with agricultural eco-tourism. As a key livelihood project aimed at ensuring grain security in Guangzhou, it represents a pivotal endeavor by Guangzhou Grain Group to fulfill its role as a state-owned public service supplier.

The project is settled in the Guangqing Airport New Modern Logistics Industry Town park in Yuantan Town, Qingcheng District, Qingyuan City. With a total investment of over 3 billion yuan, it spans an area of approximately 270 mu (ca. 44.48 acres). The plan includes the construction of grain warehousing facilities, wheat processing lines, rice processing lines, vegetable oil production lines and warehousing facilities, various food production lines, prepared food production lines, and auxiliary facilities within the park in three phases.

The project has been incorporated into the “14th Five-Year Plan” for grain security and strategic emergency support in Guangzhou. It aims to establish itself as a grain security base for both Guangzhou and Qingyuan, a national demonstration zone for integrated urban-rural development, and a showcase center for the high-quality development of the industry, supply, and value chains of grain. This project is vital in promoting high-quality integrated development of Guangzhou and Qingyuan and holds significant importance in implementing the national grain security strategy and establishing a new pattern for emergency grain supply.
